"High Stakes"? I'd say so.

I've been hearing about how these House Republicans failed to support the Obama stimulus package.

This is not a post about the merits of the stimulus package. I don't have time to read it, and the fact that Republican House members all voted no is sufficient reason to criticise them. Here goes:

Reuters has this article outlining the finer points of the really tragic decision the Republicans are making here. I'd like to add this minor spin to it.

The stimulus package apparent contains reservations for weatherization assistance which would have helped these poor people and these poor people. I think that these guys:

I'm not sure how this blogging this is going to work out. I mean, I'm supposed to be studying for the bar, not reading the news obsessively. Clearly this is a form of procrastination. Also, a suggestion from a friend as a way to "make money," although in order to do that, I guess I'd have to build up some kind of following.
